RHCSA Course Description

RHCSA stands for Red Hat Certified System Administrator. It is the most reputed and globally recognized certification. RHCSA is a certification course provided by Red Hat. This certification is a hands-on practical exam that covers all the aspects related to core system administration skills. This exam is performance based which means that a candidate have to perform tasks on a live system.

  1. Candidates who want to enhance their knowledge in the filed of system administration can take this exam. This course is also beneficial for Linux administrators who want to certify their skills. This course is a first step to become a Red Hat Certified Engineer.

This course will provide in depth knowledge of RHEL systems. This course will provide knowledge from basic to advance for concepts such as System Management, Red Hat Enterprise Linux Servers, Advance system administration tasks and managing network services.

There is no prerequisites for the exam. Candidate are advised to complete Red hat System Administration I and Red Hat System Administration II if the candidate does not have much work experience as a system administrator.

RHCSA Certification FAQs

The cost of this certification is approx $400 USD.

The exam consist of 20 questions and the duration of the exam will be 2.5 hours.

There is no prerequisites for the exam.It is advised to prepare by taking Red Hat System Administration(RH124 and RH134) if the candidate does not have previous experience.

The candidate should score at least 210 points out of 300 points.

RHCSA certification is valid for 3 years.
